Join us for screeings of the British sitcom, the Vicar of Dibley. The series aired on the BBC from November 1994 until January 2000. It is set in the fictional Oxfordshire village of Dibley, which is assigned a female vicar following the 1993 changes in the Church of England that permitted the ordination of women. Dawn French plays the lead role of vicar Geraldine Granger.
There are a total of 20 episodes in the whole series. We will watch a few episodes each night. No commitment to come to all screenings. Bring a snack to share.
