As your council begins the work of launching a stewardship program, and this Bible Study will be taking a look at what that means in regards to the gifts that God has given us. With one topic a week, we will look at:

Managing God's Gift of the World:  how do we use the resources of our earth to the Glory of God? How do we protect Creation from exploitation and abuse?

Managing God's Gift of Other People:  How do we love and serve one another?

Managing God's Gift of Time:  How do we escape overloading our schedules or wasting our time?

And yes, finally Managing God's Gift of Money:  How are we called to practice good management/stewardship—of the money, wealth, and possessions that God gives us, not only for our own needs, but also for the benefit of our neighbours and for God's Glory.

We will meet in the lower lounge every Tuesday evening for 4 weeks at 7 pm in September, starting on the 8th. We will be in the lower lounge. Please feel free to join us for one, two, three, or all four evenings.

We will look at scripture references and discuss how they apply to us as we  explore how stewardship embraces all of life. There will be a signup sheet in the hall to have an idea of numbers, and I look forward to gathering with you and delving into this interesting subject.
