A Trip Down Memory Lane

On September 11, we had the pleasure of having a visit from Canon W.E. (Bill) Morrison, who was the rector at St. Peter's from 1984-88. I brought him and his friend, Canon Keith Whittingham from St. Catharine's, ON into the church for a trip down memory lane. Canon Morrison told me that it was he that helped get the path put in from the parking lot to the church back in 1988, as an easier way to get caskets into the church for funerals. He said this was the back door and only used for funerals back in his day. He was delighted to hear that St. Peter's is still an important part of the community. Canon Morrison lives in Victoria now. He is unable to attend the 160th celebration but sends all his best wishes.
