The annual St. Peter's Parish Summer BBQ was held this past Sunday, June 14, following an outdoor service at 10:00 AM. The Eucharistic service was conducted by the Reverend Theo Robinson in the theme of Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat. Parishioners were encouraged to come in their best hats and bows. Some parishioners came even in Cat in the Hat hats! Parts of the service were in rhyming verse, which was very well received and proved to be a lot of fun for all ages!
The annual Parish Summer BBQ is always a highlight! Hot dogs and burgers were grilled, fries were served, and parishioners really went all out with providing salads and desserts! Thank goodness for the tents because it was another scorcher of a day! Photos of the event were submitted by parishioners Pat Eagar, Mark Oldnall, and myself (Karen McCullough).
Thank you, everyone, for attending the outdoor service, providing salads and desserts, and being part of this joyful parish community.
