St. Peter's Great Garage Sale

This past Saturday, May 23, St. Peter's held its annual Great Garage Sale in the Hall. This is a wonderful community event that raises a lot of money for St. Peter's. The final tally is not in yet, but it looks like over $4,000 may have been raised! All the items were donated by parishioners and the general public. The sale started at 9:00 AM and went on until noon, at which time items were marked 50% off. At 1:00 PM, any remaining items were free. There were lots of takers for the remaining items so very little remained for us to dispose of.

Thank you to the over 25 volunteers who sorted, priced and organized thousands of items, the volunteers who helped out during the sale, including Hannah Smith running the concession stand, the volunteers who picked up larger items from donors, the volunteers who helped clean up, and especially to Mark Oldnall for taking the lead on this HUGE venture!
